In light of the upcoming festival on 8 & 9 May, L’Appel du Vide X Club Maldoro welcome all dancers in the dark for a warm-up DJ set down in the dungeon of Lepakkomies.
Nymphe [L’Appel du Vide] and Robert Scarr [Club Maldoro] will bring their selection of Dark Wave, EBM, Dark Italo and other such tracks to set the mood, inviting you to dance through the night.
L’Appel du Vide is an underground music platform which honors the Minimal Wave, EBM, Synth Punk, Dark Italo and similar musical movements through organising concerts, club nights as well as an annual festival at Helsinki’s KULT.
Club Maldoro was founded in January 2025 as a reaction to the lack of dark alternative music events in Turku, having since become a sanctuary for the city’s misunderstood. Characterised by the highly stylised dark glamour of its attendees as well as unusual guest DJ appearances, the monthly event continues to serve as the city’s boldest celebration of post-punk, darkwave and EBM.
